Well, the dance year has finally come to its big event. We were able to take pictures and video on our own the night of the rehearsal, but the night of the recital they would not allow any picture taking nor videotaping. They are making a video for all to purchase. Little miss looked
SOOO cute in her little outfit and then when she had her hair and make-up done she was just BEAUTIFUL!! I hesitated to put anything more than lips and cheeks on her. The studio recommended eye makeup, because of the lighting, and so I put a little eye powder cream on her lids. Then I thought, what the heck, and asked her if she wanted mascara. She was hesitant but then agreed. She shut her eyes so tight that I was only able to get the mascara on the tips of her lashes, but boy what a difference it made. tutu with a pink rim for their ballet routine. The 1980's was the theme for the show, so every group had a song from that decade to dance to. Little misses group performed two numbers. Tap was first to the music Footloose. Ballet was next performed to the tune from Ariel ("Kiss the Girl" - Sebastian the lobster sings it). It was really cute. She did a FABULOUS job. We wish the pictures would have come out better but the lighting there just messed with our camera, plus the kids were moving, they would have had auras anyways.

At the recital, I told her that we had a surprise for her when she was done. We took a sampling of the flowers we got her and brought them along. Those flowers that we left at home are still going strong. These next pics are when we gave them to her. She was thrilled and surprised.
