Dubda came to visit

In Mid-December Tom's dad came to visit (little lady couldn't say grandpa when she was younger, it was Dubda). While he was here we went to Pullen Park for the Holiday Express. We had pictures taken with Santa, made a reindeer hat, rode the carousel and train, took pictures and rode a shuttle bus (the kids first 'bus' ride). Enjoy!

Mormor and Papa visit for Thanksgiving

While Mormor and Papa were here the kids had their Thanksgiving parties at their schools. Little man's was first. Then immediately we went to Little ladies. Parents weren't invited, but I asked if we could stop by. Since we were the only other adults there, little miss didn't want her picture taken, but we did our best. We celebrated Daddy's and Mommy's 41st birthdays and then made pinecone-peanut-butter-bird-seed treats for the birds. Enjoy!

Halloween 2009

Halloween 2008 little lady went to preshool in her costume and one of her friends was dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. She had just seen the movie about a week before and that was that, she knew what she wanted to be this Halloween 2009. We decided to make it a family affair. I was going to be the Cowardly Lion ("Puttum Up, Puttum Up") and Tom said he would be she scarecrow. When asked, little man said he wanted to be the witch. Well, try and find costumes to match. The only costume I could find for women was the witch. So, I can do that, but what about little man. Well, if you search hard enough you can find just about anything. Kohl's had a "Flying Monkey" costume for boys and that was it (how perfect since we call him a little monkey sometimes) LoL. Tom decided that it would easier to be the tin-man and since we already had a scarecrow in our front yard it was perfect. We had a great time going through the neighborhood. Then Tom had a blast standing in our neighbors driveway and scaring people (they all walked right by him thinking he was a statue or something). He had a blast! He says he is going to do it again next year (we'll see). LOL Enjoy!

FL in October

In October we went to FL for just 6 days. We tried to get in as much as possible yet also get some relaxation. We swam in Mormor & Papa's pool, went to the Palm Beach Zoo, rode the trolley on Clematis and ate at Pizza Girls for lunch, played dress up show with Mormor's hats and masks, went to Old Town in Orlando where little miss overcame her fear and rode the go-carts, spent time with Dubda riding rides and riding our bikes. It was a nice quick visit. Enjoy!
