Summer Trip '09

I can't believe that it has been 5 months since I last posted to the blog. I uploaded pictures then forgot about them. Shame Shame! In any case, here are pictures from our summer travels. We went to Waukesha Wisc. again to see Tom's brother's family. It is always fun to visit Wisc. in the summer, the weather is so nice! So, the kids rode bikes, we visited the Apple Holler (a fun apple tree farm with the "Golden Goat Bridge"), Mars Cheese Castle (have passed by for years, thought they made cheese there, oops, just sold it - good either way, but the place was .... dare I say.... Cheesy), the Circus Parade was in town so we went to see the floats down on Lake Michigan, we then celebrated all the kids birthdays with one cake "For Everybody", and the kids aren't Tiger Woods, but they did very well for their age (at the driving range). After we left Wisc. we headed to Pigeon Forge, Tenn. We rented a cabin with a hot tub, went a visited an old redneck home, then hit the adventure park. The kids love the rides, especially the go-carts (Thomas' fave, Catherine's not so much - she wounldn't ride). Finally we went to the Forbidden Caverns (abt 25 miles outside of PF). Then headed home.
